Free for farmers
The advice, reminders, community and market listings cost nothing. A farmer should never have to pay to know when to plant.
We named the app after her because everything a farmer does starts with the soil. AsaaseYaa is a free farm guide for Ghana, made by ModularPath Systems.
Most farmers know their land well. What is hard is knowing, on a given morning, whether today is the day to feed, to weed, or to wait for the rain, and getting a straight answer when a leaf turns yellow.
AsaaseYaa turns the crop guides agronomists use into a short list of jobs for your farm each day, shown in pictures, with the reason for each one. When something looks wrong, you can check a leaf or your soil, ask other farmers, or ask an agronomist.

The advice, reminders, community and market listings cost nothing. A farmer should never have to pay to know when to plant.
Every job is a picture and a few short words, in Twi or English. You do not need to read well to use it.
It runs on everyday Android phones and keeps working with no signal. Your ticks are sent when you are back online.
Planting dates, varieties and feeding follow Ghana’s seasons and regions, from crop guides checked by agronomists.
We do not sell your data. You can delete your account and your farm at any time.
We publish market prices so farmers know what their harvest is worth, and we are starting to work with buyers on fair price floors.
